The Save-On-Foods steel structure taking shape

It has been a busy couple of months at 940 – 1030 Frost Road. Not too long ago, the property was bare land but known to be home to the neighbourhood’s shops and services one day. Current day, construction is well underway, and the new retail village is starting to take shape. Callahan Property Group is thrilled to share some insights on the construction progress of one of the most anticipated anchors of the Mission Village at the Ponds: Save-On-Foods.

The Save-On-Foods building will be right on the corner of Gordon Drive and Frost Road. The last few months have been marked by preparing for the construction of the structure, and now it’s time to start seeing major visible changes: the structural steel for the building’s framework has been delivered, which means that the steel structure will be completed in the coming weeks.

The construction of the steel frame is one of the steps in the development process that shows progress visibly, which makes it an exciting milestone.

Utilities and services for the entire site are well underway in advance of site paving.
