Shoppers Drug Mart building coming together

Anyone who’s been out in the Upper Mission neighbourhood has seen the major transformation that has taken place at 940 – 1030 Frost Road. The Shoppers Drug Mart building at the new retail village is one of the more notable changes at the construction site.

Shoppers Drug Mart was the first building to be constructed. Over the next several weeks, you will start seeing the architectural elements being added, such as stone, brick, stucco and Corten steel, the materials that will give the building its charm and beauty.

The ± 17,000 sq. ft. structure at Mission Village at the Ponds will accommodate Shoppers Drug Mart’s ‘large format’ concept, which offers more space for a stronger focus on cosmetics, while also offering a convenience food section, a pharmacy, and Canada Post services.
