Paving Marks Major Milestone at Mission Village

Mission Village at the Ponds is well on its way to becoming a hub of neighbourhood shopping, service and retail convenience in the Mission in Kelowna. We are excited to announce that we have completed the paving of phase 1 of the retail village, a milestone we aimed to achieve before the temperatures dropped below zero. This marks a meaningful step forward in the construction progress of the highly anticipated retail development, keeping us on track to be open in the summer of 2024.

Construction of the Save-on-Foods and the Shoppers Drug Mart buildings is progressing quickly, and the paving project is a notable first step in creating a harmonious and visually unified retail destination. The installation of lighting and the implementation of landscaping, both scheduled for completion next week, further contribute to unifying the look and feel of Mission Village at the Ponds. These are the elements that ultimately weave together a thoughtful blend of green space, walkways and landscaping.
